Hanging Photo or Card Holder

I got my inspiration for this craft when I was looking for ways to display Christmas cards. I came across this tutorial from Kunz Family. Mine is a little different.

What you need:
-Yardstick (I painted mine. Home Depot has them cheap)
-17 Clothes Pins
-Paint & paint brush (for the yardstick or the clothes pins)
-Ribbon to tie at the top
-Hot glue
-Paper plate
-Sandpaper

First paint your yardstick then sand the edges to get a worn look. If you are also painting your clothes pins clip them all to a paper plate and paint them. After your yardstick and clothes pins are dry glue the clothes pins to the yard stick every 2 inches. Alternating the direction they face. Now tie a bow with your ribbon and glue it on the top.

I really love having these in my house. One is in my kitchen holding pictures of all my cute relatives. The other is in our office with pictures of my husband and I.

This is awesome! I am thinking of making some in green with a star on top and a felt tree base at the bottom to give as gifts. Thanks! How do you recommend hanging it?
